Visiting the Cosentino factory in Spain

This was a wonderful chance to see first-hand how one of the world’s leading stone material manufacturers works, and to gain new experience we can use in our own daily work.

It was striking to see the scale of production, the incredibly precise automation of the machinery and the enormous production lines that seemed almost endless 🕥. The speed of production also made us think about how much technology, knowledge and work it takes to hold consistently high quality at such a scale.

Especially valuable was the chance to get to know COSENTINO’s approach to sustainability more closely. We saw how water is treated and reused, how solar energy powers production, and how the minerals and other materials arising in the production process are reused as well.

Visits like these mean a great deal to us: they let us not only see how other leaders of the trade work but also learn, draw ideas and broaden our view of the future of stone materials.
